Is a volume pedal the same as an expression pedal??? I got a new echo delay that has an input for an "expression pedal". Would a volume pedal accomplish this task???

I have a "Vibe Unit" clone of original univibe. Any thoughts where it should be placed, i have read both sides of the issue, before overdrive ect. and after, does it matter?

I am figuring out my pedal order ect and have got that well in hand, now i am wondering how or if i can run three amps, having 2 of them sterio using the sterio outs on my final pedal which is a visual sound liquid chorus, before that is my boss CE-1, i have a voodoo labs amp switcher with 4 amp outs and 2 inputs, this is simple enough, the problem is i want to hook up my full tone tube tape echo as the final piece, it has but 1 input but 2 outputs.

I forgot what capacator and resistor i put across the volume pot on my relic to stop the high end bleed off when i back off the volume, any suggestions, thanks, delb, and what post to use on the pot.
