| I have a new Hartke 3500 bass amp and am considering switching preamp tubes . Is there a risk factor in switching the stock 12AX7 for a JJ Tesla ECC803s? If an increase in gain and power results from the preamp, would this pose a danger to the power amp or othe circuitry? If this is a reasonably safe mod, how would I open the chassis on this one? What would I read to catch up on bass amp theory? |

| Bought amp in 2007 haven't spent much time playing through it until recently. Changed out some preamp tubes, amp sounded fantastic. While playing sound just faded away. Sound came back minute or two later. I have changed all the tubes just to see if that would help. Same thing happened. Amp sounds good for about an hour and than just fades out, about a minute later it seems to work again. This amp is basically brand new, maybe 12 to 20 hours on it, any ideas? |

| Is a volume pedal the same as an expression pedal??? I got a new echo delay that has an input for an "expression pedal". Would a volume pedal accomplish this task??? |

| I have a "Vibe Unit" clone of original univibe. Any thoughts where it should be placed, i have read both sides of the issue, before overdrive ect. and after, does it matter? |

| I am figuring out my pedal order ect and have got that well in hand, now i am wondering how or if i can run three amps, having 2 of them sterio using the sterio outs on my final pedal which is a visual sound liquid chorus, before that is my boss CE-1, i have a voodoo labs amp switcher with 4 amp outs and 2 inputs, this is simple enough, the problem is i want to hook up my full tone tube tape echo as the final piece, it has but 1 input but 2 outputs. |

| I forgot what capacator and resistor i put across the volume pot on my relic to stop the high end bleed off when i back off the volume, any suggestions, thanks, delb, and what post to use on the pot. |

| Someone have tha schematics?There are 2 ugly transistors,labeled A1000N I think 2SA1000N but I'm not shure...There are equivalent?Is possible to replace it with a pair of 2N3055?

| Hi to everybody, i need some help, because i have a "m-80 fender guitar amplifier", but a few days ago.. it started to make pops when i turned it on.. doesn't matter i don't connect the plug (guitar), it pops... and when i move the amplifier it pops... i opened it to looking for if there is something wrong, but i didn't find anything, ahh but when it pops, inside the amplifier has leds (LD1 & LD2) and the led LD1 gets on when the amplifier pops... i hope someone can help me...and undestand me because i don't speak english very well... |
